Situated deeper into the mountains, this Unesco World Heritage Site is the resting place of the pharaohs from the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties. King Tut’s tomb was found here as well. Of the approximately 62 tombs, only certain ones are open to the public and some require an extra ticket.
