Appoximately 3 hours south of Luxor lies the agricultural town of Kom Ombo, where you will find the ancient ‘double’ temple of Ombos-of both the Ptolemaic and Roman periods located on the bank of the Nile. Mid point of returning to Luxor will be the magnificent sandstone Edfu Temple of Horas.
