Located 240 km from Luxor is the city of Aswan, the most southerly community in Egypt. Here you will find the engineering marvel of the High Dam (1970), Lake Nasser, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk, Nubian Village, Felucca boat ride and many other sites. Depending on how much time you want to spend in Aswan, an overnight stay could also be arranged.
